I still think that the "old" object method works, as for the "click to activate" annoyance one "may" go back to the oldschool methods, like inserting with a simple document.write (if I recall things correctly) - I haven't tested that though.

I have this very same problem in IE7 - see http://www.chrisgriffith.org/rf1. The Flash gallery will not reload unless I open a new page in IE7. It works fine in Firefox. Did you find a workaround? If so, I would be eternally grateful if you could tell me how to fix this - crgriffo@gmail.com. Many thanks.

I had some, but decided to rewrite them in Beanshell for a couple of reasons - do you need something in particular which you couldn't find in the macro repository?

Hi! <br />I had the same issue. In my case the problem is that I have a tone of bookmarks. The default settings on firefox 3.5.3 (what I have) regarding where it should search for suggestions when You type in something , are such , that it searches the history and the bookmarks. So I have changed my settings, now it only searches in the history and it doesn't freeze anymore. I don't know if that would safisfy Your needs, though it works for me, as I most of the times do not need suggestions from my bookmarks- I mean I would click on a bookmark if I need to surf a bookmarked site. You can change the setting by opening the "Options" then go to the "Privacy" tab and it's located on the bottom. I hope this was helpful. Cheers!
